Royal Mail's International Signed For™ service gives you the peace of mind
of knowing that a signature will be required when your order is delivered and that if your order is lost or damaged
you will be entitled to compensation for the value of the order (see below). Royal Mail tracks International Signed For™ items up to the point they leave the UK and in some cases on arrival in the destination country. When your item reaches its destination country it is handed over to the local postal service for delivery through their regular registered service. If no-one is available to sign for the item it will be retained by the postal administration for a subsequent delivery attempt or collection by the addressee. International Signed For™ is available on parcels weighing up to 2.00kg and within certain dimensions. if you select International Signed For™ and your order exceeds the weight or size limits we will contact you by email or telephone to arrange an alternative. International Signed For™ costs £3.50 plus the airmail postage to the destination country. International Signed For™ and the associated Extra Insurance option are not included in our free shipping offers. If you order one or both of these options the charge will still apply even if the order qualifies for free shipping. Compensation Up to £34 compensation for loss or damage is standard with International Signed For™. If your order is worth more than £34, you can get additional cover of up to £250. This cover costs £2.00. Click the Extra Insurance button to buy this cover. Delivery Royal Mail's target delivery times for International Signed For are: within three working days to Western Europe within four working days to Eastern Europe within five working days to the rest of the world Claims Please allow up to 25 days from the date we notify you that your order has been dispatched before you consider it lost.
